slow mo

It was so darn quiet today at kampong glam...did so much prep in anticipation for today's brunch but the turn out was quite bad but we had fun cooking those dishes for the first time. Really liked the tuna n dessert. A customer actually came to the kitchen singing praises for the dessert. Said that it would make her come back again n again for it. I was blown away. Thanks for the encouragement. She also commented that the servings were little too huge for their liking.
Gosh...wats a chef to do...some say its too little..some say its too much....
it just goes to show...when you've been doing this long enough...you learn to stick with your own intuition.....
